Dad had his teeth infection and got fever this evening, so he took some medication. I don't know if its because of the medication or whatsoever, he tells me things that I thought he'd never tell me, that is, his 那些年, his past. If you put it in other words, it will be his story with his ex. Hehe. I am surprised he actually tells me about his EX, but not the love story between he and mom. Before he started, he warned me not to tell Mommy but o well, I crack it here. :SS
He didn't describe much, but I can somehow feel his wistfulness while talking about the past. Not that he still likes his ex or what, he's just reminiscing old stuff. Well so he said many girls liked him before he knew mom(which I doubt the truth),but the way he described is actually quite convincing. He mentioned 3 girls. One with the name Marilyn, another one leaving me unknown, and the last one will be 叶美玲. I don't know what her English name is,so I'll just assume her names Mei Ling for now.
Dad said he didn't make out with Marilyn, but went for movies for a few times. Marilyn had given him the signal to ask her out,but Dad didn't accept because he said she wasn't his cup of tea. Another one would be the Unknown One, he said she's a graduate, (at that time, almost 20 or 30 years ago, graduates are really excellent people) but likes Dad which was a poor little bloke 20 years ago. She called him almost every day. Ha! What a straight forward one!
Last one would be Mei Ling. I ought to put her in another paragraph is because I've met her once(that's what dad say, I was 1 at that time how would I remember this woman's face????). The conversation of "those years" evolved from Mei Ling, so I guess she's kind of important to Dad at that time, because Dad talked quite a lot about her. He even wanted to show the watch she gave him to me(but he couldn't find it :{), again, I'm surprised that Dad actually keeps things like that :B Ok well back to story. Dad said he invited Mei Ling to his wedding, and I commented, 'that will be sad for her',then Dad said,'that's none of my business I'm taken already!!!' LOL! He even visited her with Mom and me, I guess it would be a bad time for her because according to Dad, she's still single until now. :SSSSSSSsss
Everyone has secrets behind them where they couldn't share all of it out to even the closest people in their lives. Lying or keeping secrets might be wrong, but sometimes, knowing is worse than not knowing, because you'll know the ugly truth,or,you'll make negative assumptions based on the 'secrets' they'd told you. Revealing your secrets to people is fine, but people tend to think too much thus cause a lot of dramas. So sometimes, we choose not to tell people what we have in our minds.
